I actually like "cephalopods"... and am quite fond of Cthulhu as well... each to his own... They have the largest brain of any invertebrate... And have the learning ability of a small child..
A small, angry and spiteful child. I know from experience to trust the octopus at my peril. If that's the way you want to go, as food for the eight armed ones, I can only pity you.
Thank you good Sir Kal... I just wanted to tell you that I have admired these wonderful creatures since my childhood... and they are Really Creepy And can be Dangerous if they feel "threatened" ... But their color changes indicate their emotions.. Red = Anger, and white=fear...
And Others of them can learn from observing the actions of the One... I studied on them since childhood "structurally Perfect" organisms...Not a very "cuddly" pet but if you pay attention to their "feelings" we can "co-exist" ...Besides ...They like the water ... Not our land.. Great ... I just realized that I am "Debating" on the "good" points of the "Cephalopod Scrouge"...lol they are however a really cool sea creature
Just like we are a really cool land creature. I just know not to trust them. They like your type. You collaborators. I hope you don't get caught as collateral damage when the great war begins. One day they are predicting the outcome of soccer matches and the next they are marching us into their underwater slave mining camps.
And frankly, I don't want something nearly as smart as me running around loose one ANY part of this planet. Same really I don't like mice or snakes. Those vermin are also thinkers.
I forever stand vigilant to protect this planet from the myriad of forces that are always against us. Be it the octopus, zombies, aliens or the robots my team of human agents, and our feline allies, circle the globe in a never ending struggle for human freedom.
I learn all I can on every subject that interests me. I especially enjoy ancient history because in the past there are valuable lessons to be found. Also, if I ever get my time machine to work properly, it would be good to know a bit about possible destinations and what to expect when I get there.
I greatly appreciate beautiful design. Be it manufactured or found naturally I am fascinated by the process of invention. I am attracted to the unique, the strange, the haunted. I like to share what I find on this blog.
And not let us forget the 'Cephalopod Menace' who, if allowed to, would wrap their tentacles around all that is good and pure in this life and crush it until it remained no more. They are creatures of pure spite. Hate is all they know. Death is all they do. They are our most ruthless and determined enemy.
So we fight. Selena has the celebrity contacts, the cat is ruthless and without pity, Roosevelt's ghost has the experience and I do the wetwork.
Fighting for the future of the planet doesn't have to be a chore, however. We can take the time to appreciate all that is cool in this world even as we cut the octopus into bite sized chunks.
This is the reason there has always been and must forever be, a Cave of Cool. Be sure to wipe your feet before you enter.

I agree... Man is the most dangerous predator on the planet...
Well next to the Cephalopod and the whiley trout.
