SHARKNADO RANT

I saw that there was finally a trailer out for the schlock film SHARKNADO. When I went to the site I was of course BANNED from seeing the trailer because I live in the Magnificent Socialist Paradise that is Canada. But you Americans can go HERE to see the trailer for what could possibly be the greatest deadly shark movie of all time SHARKNADO.

I thought SHARKTOPUS was frightening but this tornado full of sharks takes the deadly shark genre to a whole new level. You know this movie has class because Tara Reid (the Lindsay Lohan of her time) is the star.

I hate how I can't see these trailers in CANADA because I am a Canadian and our CRTC feels that depriving me of the trailer and access to HULU and NBC will somehow drive me to more Canadian programming. Well it hasn't. It never would because I am smart enough to get around your little tricks and I watch what I want. It's just annoying to search forever for a video source I want to share with my readers. All I have for you are these bad CGIs. Truly below my usual standard.

Now answer me this. If a shark is pulled violently out of the ocean by a tornado, would the first thing on this mind as he was hurtling towards the Earth be to snap the head off the nearest person to it's landing site? I think the sharks would stop being all big and bad once they were out of their natural environment and cry like pussies once they started to flap around on the pavement.

This is just like with the SuperBowl where the million dollar commercials are banned in Canada. We can't see them even if we watch the game on an American station. Our boys snatch the signal and the commercial time which they sell to local tire repair shops and make a ton of money. It's the only really shady thing that Canada does out front like that and I hate it. Good thing I have the Internet to watch the commercials on the Monday after the big game. But again, it's annoying to have to do that.

Now where was I?

Oh yeh, Sharknado looks great, Tara Reid doesn't and if anyone can find me an embedded file of the trailer for this soon to be classic, drop me a note.

Up in the sky. It’s a bird. It’s a plane. No, it’s a … shark! A supersized storm sucks sharks from the ocean and hurls them onto land in the new Syfy Original Movie Sharknado, premiering Thursday, July 11 at 9PM (ET/PT).

Wow. No results for "Sharknado" even on YouTube.

I think I'll just wait for "Sharkquake", I'm sure somebody out there is already working on that.

GOOD NEWS! You can see Sharknado in its entirerty on the Canadian cable SPACE channel on Sat. 7/13/13 at 2:00 pm and at 6:00 pm & 11:00 pm on Tues. 7/16/13. As for missing out on US activity, I just signed up with "HMA" for about $8.00/ month. It is like some proxy server that confuses the mean people who don't like us Canadians! :( so far it is working well, but each time you should double check that you are still connected and the connection is a good one or else you should ask for a new one. I have been able to subscribe (for more $) to Hulu Plus and it works on my Mac and IPad. Just takes some finagling to get it on Hulu. There are instructions on the web. Hope you get to see the movie and never get that darn message again. I think $8 is worth
It if it works and it has gotten good reviews. It isn't fair, but what can we do, invade them again?! ;) I was desperate to watch two online soaps (All My Children and One Life To Live) so that's why I caved and got it. Cheaper than iTunes-$20/ month and that was ALL I got. Hulu gives me so much more! Good Luck!!
