I am actually taking my mother to see this in 3D sometimes this week. She saw the trailer and thought she would like it. Now this is from a woman who hates anything that is 'made up' (though technically ALL movies are 'made up') especially anything set in space. I have no idea why the woman hates aliens and spaceships so much. I suspect she stopped an invasion in rural Manitoba when she was a child. She also hates horror films and movies with Elves be they from the North Pole or Middle Earth. How can I have turned out so normal?

Man, they put together those fan tributes so fast! And to think I'm still tinkering with ideas for posters for the likes of "Citizen Kane" and "Casablanca". It'll be quite some time before I catch up with original art for "Gravity".
If it makes you feel better, my mom is the same way. Loves political drama, Hates the idea of Babylon 5, Spent real money to see the Disney lone range film yelled at me when I loaned my step dad Firefly, citing not only was it crap, but she hated the mucks, this from a life time country music fan. Obsessively watched Boston legal and hated it when I pointed out like 80% of the cast were from some kind of Star Trek or another. I feel your pain brother!
