Remember This Sweet Bed I Made Him

I was prepared to add a fence and a little garden around the outside with plants near the heater with a view outside of the front window but this morning I moved the box and caught a wiff of his mark on the towel I had put in the box. He peed on my love. He peed on my effort to make him feel more secure. He peed on my heart. This cat hates me.

He doesn't hate you, he's a cat. Like I told my boy when we got Samoa last year, "you can't tell a cat what to do, they've already made up their mind." It's like with women, stop chasing and they come running.

Sorry you're having this issue with him. I had high hopes you two would be a match. Not sure what the peeing means. It might be an over exaggerated territory marking thing. I know this can be a real hard thing to overcome. Anything but peeing. It's a deal breaker sometimes.

Do take him to the vet, he might have an issue.

I had several cats that developed the peeing problem, even after years of being fine. Eventually, it became such a problem they had to go. Later, I found out that it could have been some type of bladder problem or infection. So definitely get him checked at the vet before taking more serious action.

Also, remember that he is NOT the Admiral. You can't compare him to that high standard. He is going to behave differently (and I'm talking about his behaviour other than the peeing.)

The new dog (which we cannot afford) just slashed my face earlier while feeding her (two long cuts one not very deep)... just for "trying"...
