Hasbro and DC Comics Settle ‘Bumblebee’ Trademark Dispute

What about the real bumblebees?
Don't they have a case?

Hasbro introduced its Bumblebee in 1983, and obtained a trademark on the Bumblebee name in 2015.

Why did they wait so long to trademark the name? I thought that wasn't a seperate thing especially when he is a charter in the cartoon. Doesn't the Transformers trademark cover ALL Transformers? And how is someone going to mistake a girl doll with a transforming car?? What I am saying is that there is room for many Bumblebees in our world. Can't we all just get along and settle for a nice payout from a corporate fat cat? Apparently we can.
