It's Going To Be The Tightest Emmy Race In Years

Last year was one of the greatest years in television history when it came to genre programming and I am very happy that WATCHMEN got all these nomination. Who ever thought that there were be a sequel to the iconic story, let alone that it would be so damn good?

As good as WATCHMEN was, THE MANDALORIAN was even better. Another surprise that they could create a STAR WARS story that carries NONE of the usual Star Wars baggage. It was the freshest thing we have seen from that universe since the first Star Wars movie in 77. Up for best series and deserves the win. It was made with love and the world needs a win like this if the Emmy's are to have any credibility. In a year of great shows, THIS one was the greatest.

Okay. The Emmy's are full of shit now. Not my thing. Big cats in cages disturbs me as much as horses in peril. I jumped off this Hillbilly train wreck 15 minutes in and don't regret a single thing.

Science fiction/Fantasy series are doing amazingly well.

Because the creators were raised on the source material and understand the genre better on TV than in the movies. Some shows need a whole season to come together. Like Umbrella Academy season one.
