The Admiral By MD Jackson

Anyone who had checked into the 'Cave of Cool' instantly notices the mythical header I commission from my good friend MD Jackson. I had the framework of an idea and he filled in all the details and did so in such a fantastic way that he has as much to do with the look of the 'Cave of Cool' as I ever did. It's a gorgeous piece of work.

A few months ago we goofed around about doing a portrait of Admiral fluffy is all his regale glory. Arrogance combined with a practical understanding that I have some VALUE to him. He begrudgingly gives me his approval.

I imagine his insisting that I be in the portrait he commissioned and that I be in the background in my ordinary day clothing. Nothing to take focus away from the Admiral's magnificence.

THAT is the genius of this piece for me. I already have enriched the relationship between these two characters and taken my story in some fresh directions. Quite a gift for MD to give a buddy you have never met, especially on a Monday, when I am often at my most creative.

Thank-you my friend. I will have much to say about this after my head clears. Again you got it perfect. Check out SKYLARKING for all of the great stuff that MD does.

It is great. You look like you fit into that period of history.

Better keep your eye on your captain or he might just chase tuna around the Atlantic and ignore the ships to be plundered.

We are not pirates or plunderers. We a retrievers of rare artifacts. I have no problem if there is some tuna involved. So much easier to selectively fish from an airship anyways.
