Seeing the blonde actress confirms it for me. She looks just like Sally Kellerman. And what is with all the revenge going on in the Federation? That's what you get when you let a loose cannon like Kirk run willy nilly over the galaxy with one of your spaceships. You get SHENANIGANS! That's what you get.

Alice eve has been confirmed to play carol markus, and Benedict Cumberbatch is supposedly playing John Harrison. I doubt it's Gary Mitchell, as he has no godlike powers. my vote is he's playing Garth of Izar. Ex-fleet? British accent? What have I missed?
I must be ill. I think I am actually enjoying all the questions about who Benedict is playing if its anyone we have seen before. I would like to be wowed but I doubt that will happen.
