Dell Comics Never Shortchanged On Their Covers
These were just the kind of comics that lept out at you from the rack at the gas station. The story inside often didn't live up to the covers but that wasn't the point. Never did a dime come so fast out of my pocket.

Man these are great Kal and I tell you they just don't do up comic book covers like this anymore which is sad to me.
I used to buy my comics at the local pharmacy. Right beside the hand-lettered sign that said "This is not a library -- buy before reading!"
Me too. There was a Rexall drugstore down the street. I was there at least once a week checking out the vertical rack of comics. Turok had some great covers, as you can see.
Love these covers. My mom bought us comics every week when we went for groceries. Oh the pain of having to pick the right one.
