Haim - Tell Me You Could Love Them Too

I have listened to these two songs all weekend and just got their first album but I am afraid to listen to it. What if I hate every other song. I want this so to become my new favorite group. They just hit all the right notes with me. Cute family group who can, play, sing and write their own music. The harmonies, the vocal ticks and tricks, the gorgeous arrangements and the heartbreaking lyrics. 'Don't Save Me' particularly breaks my heart but in the best of ways. They are almost the anti-Kardashian sisters.

I can't say that they do too much for me. It all sounds very familiar. The girl band around my house these days is Lorde, who coincidentally, just did a Sheryl Crow song with Haim (so what do I know). For a 17 year old she is frighteningly talented and self assured. She could also fit right in with your Monster High collection. That's got too be a bonus yes?

Is she the one with the great hair? I just never listen to much new music this year. And I love this album so much. Fresh to me I guess. Damn I am getting old. But you must agree it's nice to see someone play their own instruments.

Great hair, great songs, great attitude. Her big breakout song is Royals but the whole album is fantastic. I think that you would approve. Talent over hype, what's not to like?
And hey, a thanks to you. Among all the x-mas graphic novels I bought for me and the kids I got Mouse Guard for my youngest. I read it today and it's a beautiful book.

I am glad you like Mouse Guard. I thought it was a beautiful story and the art is gorgeous. Boy or girl?

I've got it easy, two boys. I know them because I am them. Their favorite book at the moment is Scud the Disposable Assassin. I've kept everything from my younger days so they have quite the comic collection at their fingertips. In return they keep me up to date with the new music like Lorde.
