NO OSCAR NOMINATIONS FOR WONDER WOMAN??

Well the Oscars can just kiss my ass. This is such an oversight. FUCK YOU uptight Hollywood voters. I am broken hearted. Don't get me started on Hugh Jackman getting the snub for LOGAN. It's just wrong. There should be a catagory for these pop culture films because they will NEVER get their due. I knew this since ANNIE HALL beat STAR WARS for best picture. To this day I have never seen ANNIE HALL because of that. I don't watch the Oscars anymore since the Internet gave me the results the next day.

The Oscars are a joke and have been for decades, particularly the Best Picture category -- unless, of course "best" means "arty", "dull", "dense" "obscure", "unwatchable" or "socially relevant". It usually has NOTHING to do with entertainment value. Chances are, the less likely you are to have ever heard of or want to see a movie, the greater the chance it will win Best Picture.

I can almost always pick the best actor/actress/supporting winners by just picking the person who either played someone with a disability or who physically "transform" themselves for the role (usually by losing or gaining a ton of weight). Works every time, when applicable. Note: This is not a slight to any of the actors, all of those who are nominated are masters of their craft (as are most of the snubs). It's just how Oscar winners get picked.

But I seriously do hope they someday recognize Hugh Jackman. The man is an amazing actor. They would just never do it for his portrayal of Wolverine. That would give too much indirect respect to a film genre that these avant garde film snobs despise.

Patty Jenkins deserved a nod for Best Director, at the very least.

When have you ever seen a female director create something as rich, relevant, lvoing to the source material and the pure adventure of the story. Such bullshit.

Logan did get nominated for Best Screenplay, shocking enough, but without any other big nominations its unlikely to take home any major awards.
