All I Ask, Is That You TRY

I just can't read any further into this article because they give all the temperatures in just Fahrenheit. Why? Because the writer could not imagine that maybe someone other than an American or a resident of Myanmar would read this story. Those are the only two countries in the WORLD that haven't crossed that line into the Metric System. Must sound too much like that Commie Socialism to the ear of the Hillbilly. Why bother to include the Celsius temperatures, right? Must be the same reason the writer mentions the elevation of these cold places in feet and not meters. Again, I have no problem with the need to include the old Imperial measurements because I understand that some have difficulty with holding two competing systems in their heads but God damn people, THIS is why you fail. It must have been done deliberately to make my head explode. Why John Harrigton? WHY? You did all this great research and you drop the ball right before the goal line. I just want to email you but then I would be the crazy one here. You all see my point, right?

Alright, I’ll give it to you once more...

8oz to a cup,
2 cups to a pint
2 pints to a quart
4 quarts to a gallon.

16 oz to a pound
2000 pounds to a ton

1 inch to a foot
3 feet to a yard
5280 feet / 1760 yards to a mile

32 degrees is freezing
212 degrees is boiling

I don’t get it, what’s so hard about remembering all these terms and numbers and which orders they go in?
