Everyone will be talking about Blade Runner and Ladyhawke today. While those are two excellent Rutger movies I would like to remind everyone of this little known gem called The Blood of Heroes.

Blood of Heroes - or Salute Of The Jugger as it will forever be to me (as that was it's release name over here) is not only a great film, but my all-time favourite sci-fi sports film. Absolutely love it. More people need to check it out - and hopefully your piece will encourage some readers to do so!
A sad day. He passed on my birthday, which sucks.
I really liked his snide portrayal in Batman Begins. Great actor. RIP Mr. Hauer and thanks for the memories...
