For Wings

"Thanks for the 'cup-o-joe' dollface."

I don't drink coffee myself. I tried it once when I was 12 at a diner while we waited for our ride to pick us up. We waited hours because apparently Denise's father drank alot and had this nasty habit of passing out when he should have been sober and picking up 4 children trapped in an all-night diner.

They had a 'bottomless' cup of coffee special and I abused that loophole and must have drank ten cups. Got violently ill.

Now if someone had actually had a brain in the group, we would have realized after the first hour that, "Hey, I can call my Dad to pick us up instead".

No cell phones in those days so no access to the Google to help us. Today I would have entered 'SAVE ME" in the search box and followed one of the results.

Instead we waited, and waited and waited and memorized all the Canadian history on the sugar packs. Then I violently puked in the bathroom and to this day can't drink coffee because of the sense memory that always comes back. I can't eat carrot cake or drink cream soda or smoke cigarettes for the same reasons.

I have a similar story about doritos. I still can't eat doritos. But I would not survive one day without coffee!

Man, after the apocalyse you coffee people are going to be a bitch to live with for the first couple of weeks.

Good thing I got a guy burying me cases of Pepsi made with cane sugar in the Mexican desert for just such an crisis.

I hope the apocalypse won't take took lon to arrive: the ice chilling your Pepsi bottles might not last long enough. And you won't like drinking warm Pepsi, believe me.

Nothing to say about coffee, which I love, but I gotta love the image at the top of the post, from one of the best segments of "Fantasia 2000"!
