X-Men First Class

I was thinking about mutants after watching the 'First Class' movie and wondering how many beatings by evil mutants with better control over their powers it would take before one of the good guys started to focus more on his training and truly find out the damage they could do with their powers.

Funky cool movie by the way. 10/10. I even loved the goofy all red Magneto costume that appeared right at the end of the movie.

I dunno, I think I'm getting a bit tired of X-Men movies. It's like they'll never be as good as the 2nd one (Nightcrawler rocks!).

It was, as you said, a funky cool movie, though. I enjoyed Magneto and Kevin Bacon a lot, and Mystique was cute..and how cool was that "recruitment" scene with the Gnarls Barkley music? That was my fav scene.

They did so many things right with this X-men movie. It's the movie they should have made all along. Are you talking about the recruitment of a certain feral Canadian mutant?

Yeah, you can sort of feel they had fun making the movie, and didn't take themselves too seriously. Also, it helps that Wolverine isn't there to hog the spotlight, like he did in the previous trilogy.

Yeah, that cameo was pretty funny, but I meant the whole scene (montage?) was cool. It also helps that I know and love the Gnarls Barkley song "Run", that they used.

We saw it for Father's Day. I thought it was pretty cool. Scope gave it an "okay".

No higher praise to come to a movie from the Great Silent One.
