Containing all the weapons and talents of the Avengers, the Taskmaster should have destroyed the team many times but seems to be a character more into the challenge than world conquest and that I always found refreshing. He would rather have the confrontation with the hero than the money he would be paid for killing said hero.
Plus what a great costume, Sword Master's Sword, Captain America's like shield, arrows and bow like Hawkeye, whatever Avenger's weaponry you can imagine except Iron Man's Armor he carries around with him. She hooded skull mask and cap is a nice combination.
The Taskmaster is often hired as a training instructor by various criminal organizations, as well as S.H.I.E.L.D. and the U.S. government. In Taskmaster vol.2 #3 (2011), the character was revealed to be a S.H.I.E.L.D. sleeper agent planted by Nick Fury to gather intelligence in the criminal underworld.
Even the action figure comes hip deep in accessories and I love all the stuff he manages to carry with him both in the comics and as action figures.
In recent years the Taskmaster has stopped training henchmen in fighting styles and joined the side of the Angels as a professional mercenary agent for S.H.E.I.L.D.

I dunno. The skull mask and hood are cool, but rest of his designs feels so busy. That big cape is really impractical for a mixed martial artist. All these belts and straps that could be easily streamlined, plus old style costume carryovers like the underwear of power and buccaneer boots feel unnecessary. He's a shoulderpad away from being a swashbuckling version of Cable.
The blue and orange is a good color combination, but the white feels intrusive. I'm willing to bet that they added that so as not to get sued for ripping off DC's Deathstroke the Terminator.
You can keep it. I will look elsewhere. You bitched me out pretty good and I don't think I want to work with you.
