How Did The Transformers Never Sue The GoBots? Or At Least Kick Their Asses?

Aren't they all the same thing?

the Trash Man said...: Well, Hasbro eventually bought the Go-Bots' trademarks [back in the early '90s] and has recycled a couple names/characters for their own use over the years. Apparently, though, Bandai still owns all the original designs and molds, which means we'll never really see anything more than a few, odd homages.

It's too bad, because I loved both cartoons/toy-lines when I was a kid. The Transformers were far superior, obviously, but I still have a soft-spot for anything Go-Bots. And Rock Lords, too..!; September 5, 2013 at 9:28 PM
