The Delicious Muntjac Fawn

This muntjac fawn, photographed by jeff moore at the tiggywinkles wildlife hospital in buckinghamshire, was delivered by caesarean section after his mother was killed by a car. just six inches tall and weighing 500 grams, he was thought to be about three weeks premature.

Three weeks premature? You mean three weeks tastier, don't you? This little guy is hardly a snack so you would have to raise him up right before putting him on the dinner plate. Now before you judge me let me leave you with three words - Circle of Life.

Dinner plate? He's just an appetizer, surely.

That's why I am thinking of holding this one back. Now if I could get a dozen of him like I can with those Dik Diks then sure. I might have to toss this one back.
