Transformers - Age of Extinction

I found the first two Transformer movies to be a chore to slog through. When, they should have been fun they were difficult to follow and the giant battles were just boring and pathetic. Not what one should expect from such a high octane type of blockbuster. How Michael Bay could make the Transformers boring, I will never know and that makes me unsure about this one. Though I did like to see Grimlock. He and Megatron were always my favorite Transformers after Optimus Prime of course.

Transformers 2 remains the only movie I've ever seen were I felt dumber after watching it. There was so much stupid stuff going on that I'm convinced that my brain was trying to shut itself down.

I only saw that because a friend had brought back a bootleg DVD from China for us to laugh at (the clarity was very surprising for something filmed in a theater) But in the end it just wasn't worth it and I've avoided the franchise ever since.

The trailer for four looks interesting. A struggling single dad as our hero seems a lot more sympathetic that other screaming squishy human had last time, however with Michael Bay's name still on this, I still have my doubts.

That goes to show how much the movies blend together in my mind. This in number four and I totally forgot about the last one. Too much going on that you couldn't even enjoy giant robot battles which is sad for a TRANSFORMERS movie.

Big fan of the blog longtime lurker. Quick correction, Grimlock is a Dinobot not a Predacon.
