Brave And The Bold - The Lost Issues

In a world where people blog about most everything I found this unique blog. The creator takes old covers of Batman - The Brave and the Bold and teams the Dark Knight up with characters he would never have been teamed with - mainly Marvel characters.

The blogger's skills with photoshopping the new characters into the old issues is very well done and puts this above regular photoshop projects. He uses mainly Aparo's dynamic version of Batman. That makes finding a complementary images to use all that more difficult.

Today he pulled a 'Hitchcock' or a 'Steranko' on me by putting Batman's team up partner on a poster. 'Plop' was never a single character but the title for a cartoon/comedy book that ran for less than 20 issues in the 70s. It distinguished itself by having these great Basis Wolverton creatures occupy the covers.

Inside you found gag cartoons that most everyone over the age of 8 could get. My favorites were the ones depicting life in a dungeon where all the guys hanging from chains said things that made fun of their situation.

We all need our little creative distractions and this blogger does something that appeals to my love of comics. He also posts frequently so I check back every couple of days to see what new stuff he has put up.

PS Thanks for voting for me, and I like your suggested addendums (e.g., 4 days on, 3 off..). I knew I could count on you.
