If This Headline Meets With Your Approval Then You Are My People

Syfy movie pits Debbie Gibson vs. Tiffany

"Syfy has cast 1980s pop-star rivals Debbie Gibson and Tiffany in one of the network’s signature Saturday night original movies. Yes, they will fight.

The network promises an epic battle between the former teen pop idols, who will star in “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid.”

Gibson will play a fanatical animal-rights activist who frees illegally imported exotic snakes from pet stores, sending them into the Everglades, where they grow to mega sizes. Tiffany will play an overzealous park ranger who uses dangerous methods to save endangered alligators."

I was a big fan of them both as a teen.

I don't approve or disapprove. I don't even know which is Debbie, which is Tiffany.

as cool as pitting them against eachother is, the movie sounds horrid. Do good writers cost that much more that bad ones. Heck they could hire you or me to come up with fresher ideas that giant reptile fights giant reptile.

Oh I hear you Bud. I have watched too much of their Drek. The tech is there to make something really cool and fun but they just won't do it. They think that those old creature features are beloved because they look cheap. That is often unintentional by the original filmmakers.

When the messed up the greatness that could have been Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus I part of me died and they lost me for the most part.

And HELL YEH we could write up something great, Budd. But you do realize that the MAN would never let that happen.
