One of my favorite things to do is to look at tumblrs to find images like this. For some reason I love this piece. I actually went back to look for it after several hour so that I could post it on my site. There just seems a story behind the painting - a sad story about love lost. You also could be forgiven for believing that it was created during the Renaissance.
