That's why I love them so. You got Selena who does everything in a classy way and then there is Miley....dear sweet slow hillbilly Miley. She's becoming my favorite train wreck.
Its seems its tougher on kids who get a start doing overly wholesome music or television since those are mediums that are around in the public eye for longer, compared to movies were an actress can pick a role, play it and move on.
After all Dakota Fanning and Anne Hathaway started out relatively clean as kids, and working their way up to darker, more adult roles to give their career a more rounded, diverse feel. Though I suppose this is more a case of having your personal life tied down than your potential roles.
Compare to the likes of Chloe Mortez who broke out in something so dark and family-unfriendly. (Though according to IMDB her first role was voicework for Winnie the Pooh on "Playhouse Disney") I remember watching "Hugo" and thinking "Who is this girl, she seems familiar..." Not clicking that it was her until the end. Scorese wasn't the only one taking refugee from the R Rating it seems.
All the girls you mentioned are also very talented in their own ways. It must be so tough to be under the scrutiny of everyone all the time when you can't be the cute and funny and goofy Miley you used to be. Still the hair looks like she paid a hobo five bucks to do. Good lord girl. I just posted NICE pictures of you. It's like I have all these Disney daughters. Selena will be fine but I hate her stupid boyfriend just because he is charming but still stupid. Miley is the wild middle child that has too much to prove to everyone. I give her one more year being a fuck up then she's got to get it together. Then their Chloe, sweet distant dangerous Chloe. You kinda want to know where she is in the room at all times. Girl has mad wetwork skills.
I forever stand vigilant to protect this planet from the myriad of forces that are always against us. Be it the octopus, zombies, aliens or the robots my team of human agents, and our feline allies, circle the globe in a never ending struggle for human freedom.
I learn all I can on every subject that interests me. I especially enjoy ancient history because in the past there are valuable lessons to be found. Also, if I ever get my time machine to work properly, it would be good to know a bit about possible destinations and what to expect when I get there.
I greatly appreciate beautiful design. Be it manufactured or found naturally I am fascinated by the process of invention. I am attracted to the unique, the strange, the haunted. I like to share what I find on this blog.
And not let us forget the 'Cephalopod Menace' who, if allowed to, would wrap their tentacles around all that is good and pure in this life and crush it until it remained no more. They are creatures of pure spite. Hate is all they know. Death is all they do. They are our most ruthless and determined enemy.
So we fight. Selena has the celebrity contacts, the cat is ruthless and without pity, Roosevelt's ghost has the experience and I do the wetwork.
Fighting for the future of the planet doesn't have to be a chore, however. We can take the time to appreciate all that is cool in this world even as we cut the octopus into bite sized chunks.
This is the reason there has always been and must forever be, a Cave of Cool. Be sure to wipe your feet before you enter.

Ah these Disney Channel Kids! They worry about getting typecast, and they just try too hard to break the mold!
