What is so inefficient about a house call? It's basically what I am doing anyway when I go to the doctor's office. He doesn't run tests or even use the tongue depressors. He might just as well send over Snappy The Robot here to probe me and take my fluid while the Doctor prepares his drive for the first hole on the golf course.

One of the first color tv broadcasts ever took place in México City, in an auditorium filled with doctors watching an operation. True fact.
That is cool. I would like to see that film and how detailed it is. Imagine seeing the inside of someone in color for the first time, if you weren't a doctor of course. Color TV must have made people's head explode. I lived with both color and B&W.
The broadcast was made in the "Hospital Genral", which is a teaching hospital, so imagine an auditorium filled up with med students.
I don't understand why house calls vanished either.
