An Older Meme About Me Still Rings True

  1. What does their bedroom look like?
A toy store with only the coolest toys on display. I like to have an office full of organized clutter. I like my favorite stuff to be close.

  1. Do they have any daily rituals?
I check my email, I make up posts to blog, I watch my shows, I go for a walk, I do chores around the house and make meals. I look after the flowers in the yard. I sometimes leave the house once a month to brave the stores for supplies. I mostly live alone and only talk to people online or on podcasts. I feel like prisoner with privileges sometimes.

  1. Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?
I try to do something everyday. I would love to find a new bike to cruise around the neighborhood after my last one fell apart all at once...while I was riding it. No shit. It was like in a cartoon.

  1. What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?
There is a microwave and Easy Mac so problem solved.

  1. Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)
I know my room looks like clutter but it is all very organized. Everything had it's place and a drawer in a box or on the wall. I shower whenever I have to leave the house and change my underwear...just in case, you know?
  1. Eating habits and sample daily menu
I like mixed food like cheese with bread and meat and olives or other pickled food. I like many small meals a day but a big meal on Sunday. I cheat and eat bad food on Saturday.

  1. Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time
I can't just sit around. I have to be doing something even if it looks like I am doing nothing. I am always writing something new or doing research about something that interests me or watching my shows or listening to podcasts and Howard stern or looking for images to make posts about. I fill my day with lots of productive stuff (well to me) and can work 20 hours straight like that if I am interested.
  1. Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging
I like to have a chocolate bar a day. I need my Diet Pepsi. I like a traditional big supper on Sunday.

  1. Makeup?
Never. I don't want my skin to age. I will be a young looking 80 year old.
  1. Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?
To many to count. After being shot I think I have PTSD which has turned me from someone who could be around people and enjoy them to someone who avoids people at all costs unless absolutely necessary. I hate being in crowds. To afraid to attend too comic book conventions this summer because I am too scared to go by myself.
  1. Intellectual pursuits?
What have you got? I like to know a little bit on many subjects so I can converse with others who have those same interests. It's the best part of the Internet that I can find like minded travellers to share my life with. I get to talk with experts in the things I have an interest in and they treat me like an equal. I meet so many interesting personalities. My people really are great and I am proud to have attracted them around myself. Says something good about me.

  1. Favorite book genre?
I do love graphic novels. Pictures and words with superheroes going though angst and ennui is great to me. I rarely read novels anymore because there are too many good TV shows and movies to follow. I wish I had the time for both.

  1. Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?
Hard enough to be a human on this planet as it is. To judge someone who is born a certain way is lunacy to me. I wouldn't wish same sex attraction on anyone. It's a hard life in a world that gives a shit about things they shouldn't. People in glass houses usually hate these lifestyles the most and that kind of hypocrisy is what I hate the most.
  1. Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)
I have the legs of a god. I lost 60 lbs to cure myself of Type 2 Diabetes. I have never injured a joint or a knee or broken a bone. It's why Cal no longer runs. I am not taking chances as I get older.

  1. Biggest and smallest short term goal?
I would love to find a nice part time job in the education field but it would really have to be the right set-up. I worked in the snake pit of public school for years and I can't do that kind of job anymore. No patience for bullshit from mouthy punk kids.
  1. Biggest and smallest long term goal?
I would love to get my own place where I could really have a nice area to display all my toys. Take them all out of tubs. Have glass cases with doors for the loose figures. Just have everything organized in a better way. I feel l can do so much more with what I have to showcase my treasures.

I like a frosty A&W Root Beer. It just feels like summer to me.

  1. What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
Please no nightmares. I have to many nightmares these past years. So detailed and a chore to survive every night. The things I have to figure out to just survive just overworks my mind when it should be resting.
  1. Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?
I had dry skin on my hands and had to wear medicine, the plastic gloves then socks when I slept which I rarely ever did as a kid. I was up many, many nights listening to my transistor radio or watching late night TV movies.

  1. Turn-ons? Turn-offs?
People who have minds that I can never anticipate what they are going to say are interesting to me. Funny people are a turn on. Boring people who don't know how to make conversation with anyone, even people they feel are beneath them infuriate me. Religious bigotry makes me crazy as does stupid Hillbilly like behavior and people who hate for irrational reasons.
  1. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?
My classic doodles, including the three dimensional cube. and every superhero I can think to draw. I don't have much of a skill set. This is Icky Bird. He is covered with oil and smog and will soon die. I designed him for a childhood contest against pollution.

I know where everything is. All the important papers are in an important place.
  1. Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?
I will admit I am a partial expect on many many things. I have a voracious appetite for knowledge. If I care about something I want to know all about it but the reverse is also true. If I don't care about something then it's dead to me (like most sports).
  1. How do they see themselves 5 years from today?
I hope with a real life friend or two. A fun job that is not to much pressure where I can use my skills to help people. An elementary school would be best.
  1. Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?
To get out over my fear to join groups doing things I would like to do. I would love to get over my fear of going to the local pool. I want to swim at least once a week but it's a whole body issue thing. Sigh.
  1. What is their biggest regret?
That I never found anyone who loved me enough to want to spend their lives with me and my imperfections. I am not worth the time or the effort.

I have no real friends or enemies though that snotty paperboy comes awful close at times to being my nemesis.
  1. Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?)
I save the cat and be glad I have lots of insurance for all my stuff. I could never choose one toy or collectible to save. Maybe my Kotobukiya girls because they are right here.

  1. Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies)
I would man up but hate everything about it. My Mother is old and I don't know what I would do without here. She is so awesome and does everything so well.
  1. Most prized possession?
My freedom. I am beholding to no one.
  1. Thoughts on material possessions in general?
I like to have my stuff but I don't need much space or stuff to be comfortable. Some things of course are essential like satellite TV and Internet access.

I am honest about who and what I am I think.
  1. What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time?
I like being online, I like watching my TV shows without commercials and I like to create and add to my blog which I have done daily for nine years. That is a good hobby I think.
  1. What makes them feel guilty?
How long do you have? We all feel guilt about bad decisions we have made but you can't ever go back in time to fix what you messed up the first time.
  1. Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making?
I am a combination of both but emotions always win out for me in the end.

I am quite intense when I am fired up about something.
  1. What recharges them when they’re feeling drained?
Comments on my blog. Compliments, a sleep where I don't dream.

I think I am much more of genius than I probably am but I doubt it. I have awesome and correct opinions about everything.

  1. How misanthropic are they?
The human race can either surprise or disgust me at any minute. I wish they would collectively get it together but that will never happen. That makes me sad. Stupid humans are nothing but trouble. They live to ruin everything that is nice in this world.
  1. Hobbies?
Too many to mention. I have many interests.
  1. How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education?

Jedi. Grey Jedi. Because both sides are crazy.

  1. Superstitions or views on the occult?
I don't mess with that bad JU JU. I hate Ouija Boards and Tarot Cards and I KNOW that all that stuff is B.S. I spent a life studying this stuff but still I fear the Ouija just in case I am wrong.

  1. Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?
Words don't matter without the action to back it up. That is where many people make their mistake. Be someone others can rely on not to be a pain in the ass is the best thing you can do for the world.
  1. If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?
They need a laughter that sounds like music because I would make them laugh and they would have to find me hilarious. Of course red hair would be great and someone who wears nice boots in the winter. And maybe a fur hat. Can be fake fur...let's not get nuts here. I am tough to be around so I expect to be alone for the rest of my life. No biggie. Maybe I dodged a bullet.

  1. How do they express love?
What? You have my time and attention. What more do you want. That is the rarest thing I have to give up, MY TIME. I covet my time to do what I like to do. If you get to share that know that I am giving you my very life blood.
  1. If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?
Fights last no more than five hits or they are going on too long. Never get grabbed unless you have a cool martial arts move for dealing with being grabbed. Hit hard and hit fast and END what just started and END it in your favor. Then you can live with yourself. Never initiate. Negotiate first but if that fails make sure you commit and finish fast.

  1. Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?
Death is sweet release. THEN I get to rest unless their are GODS because if there are then they will have BIG problems with me. I got questions and gripes that they will hear from me. Where the hell have they been? I feel like Preacher. God abandoned us and he can't get away with that.

Had a "gift" for reading the cards... they only tell the "bad things" (so, at least we have an idea of how Bad thing are and what influences they will have...) .. thus, we know if "troubles" will pass (or are they just beginning)... A cool look into your World, good Sir Kal...
A pleasant Sunday evening to you as well (and we both have the same "favorite beverage")
