Victoria Pratt was the Cheryl Ladd of the 90s for me. She did so many cool action/adventure roles during that time. She is also a local girl - and as you know ALL Canadian girls are 'local girls'. Mutant X was a cool mutant themed series that came out of Canada at about the same time as the first X-Men movie was released.
Shalimar Fox is played by Victoria Pratt.
Shalimar Fox is
a Feral type
mutant. Her codename (which we will probably never hear) is
ShadowFox.
Shalimar Fox is
in her mid 20s, fiery, feral and stunning, a sensual beauty utterly in touch
with her primal self. Blessed with both human and animal DNA, Shalimar has the
strength, speed, and cunning of the animal kingdom... with a tempestuous nature
to match. She is uncannily fast, inhumanly agile and sensually feline. Walking
the line between human and feral, Shalimar is a little wild and completely
unpredictable.
During her time with the team, the youngest member of Mutant X learned to hone her telempathic gifts and expand to telepathy, mind control, illusions, and precognition. The most socially conscious member of Mutant X, Emma's abilities gave her occasional migraines. She developed her psionic blast at the end of her first year, and her personality darkened as she became more powerful and less trusting of Mutant X's leader, Adam Kane.
