John Mahoney who played Frasier's Dad in the series passed away today at age 77. He was always a favorite of mine. He also played the flawed father in my favorite teen romance movie ever, Say Anything.

John Mahoney was a fave of mine too. He held his own in that cast, not an easy thing to do with the talented likes of David Hyde Pierce and Kelsey Grammar. Plus he was gay too, so an extra reason to like him.
He also played the Dad in the greatest teen romance movie of all time - Say Anything.
