I taught for almost 20 years but never saw a classroom like this one in Ziyun, China. While to some it may seem harsh I can't help but admire the way the Chinese adapt to their needs and conditions. I would find such an enviroment educationally stimulating. First built in 1984 it now accomodates 186 students with a teaching staff of 8. They even have a basketball court.
