Adam West, Straight-Faced Star of TV's 'Batman,' Dies at 88

The thing I most admired about West is that he never ran from the legacy of the 60s Batman and embraced it fully in his later years. He is one of the immortals who entertained me even in the movie Robinson Crusoe on Mars with his monkey co-star.

How would I have liked to see a feature film version of Frank Miller's 'The Dark knight returns' with Adam West, Christopher Reeve and Lynda Carter!!!

I adored Batman and Robin when I was a kid, both the comics and the TV show. RIP Adam West. Those two cartoons are the best!
