This Song Never Gets Old For Me

The Umbrella Academy is a comic book series created and written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá. The first six-issue limited series, The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite was released by Dark Horse Comics, between September 19, 2007, and February 20, 2008. It won the 2008 Eisner Award for Best Finite Series/Limited Series. A second series, The Umbrella Academy: Dallas, followed in 2008. The Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion, and a proposed fourth series, are in development. A television adaptation was announced to be in development in July 2015 and is set to premiere on Netflix on February 15, 2019. The first issue of The Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion was released on October 3, 2018

I like that the guy doing this cover is the guy who WROTE the Umbrella Academy. Gerard Way did something so original with the three comic book mini-series he has already finished with his artist Gabrielle Ba. Even ONE page of what those two guys created make Rob Liefeld entire body of work like like a toddler created. Way understands superheroes in ways that Liefld never did or could and Liefeld spent time with the KING - Jack Kirby and absorbed NOTHING from the great man. I can just imagine the conversations

"Jack, please teach me how to draw background and the feet of all my characters. I think people are starting to figure out that I really have no business creating comics books. Because I have no imagination. Yes, I admit it, Deadpool is just Spider-Man with guns"

SO INNOVATIVE AND GROUND BREAKING - GAH!!

Gerard Way actually learned a little about how to tell a great comic book story from reading the books which is what everyone one of us should be able to do. If I had any ambition Gerard would be begging me to do a two part Danger Cat 20 crossover special. Trust me. The Umbrella Academy can stand next to any comic characters ever created and stand proudly as can the story. I am jealous of those of you who are about to be thrilled and amazed. My favorite Dysfunctional family of superheroes.

Is she Super Ordinary? Her adopted 'Father' always thought she didn't have powers like her siblings and her cruel father never missed an opportunity to remind her of that. Unfortunately for the Umbrella Academy they will learn their Father was totally wrong about a simple girl who played the violin. She could maybe be the most powerful member of all.

That’s a really good series, wish they had made more of them.
