Love the scathing sarcasm in this. I'm not even American and I weep for the dark age the Tea Party is trying to bring down on their country.

Funny and sad. Just once I'd wish for an honest politician who didn't push us into tea party mode. :)

Perfectly right on.

The worst part is that they think they are right with a confidence that borders on facism. I would like these people to see beyond their own petty and provincial interests and see how much they are being used to keep down those who would bring real change to a country that sorely needs it right now.

Kal--That would require taking a step back to allow rational thought to enter! I think it's one of their beliefs that doing so is blasphemous and unpatriotic.

*bangs head against wall*

I'm laughing at this, but it's the kind of laugh that can quickly dissolve into sobs.

What does it take to become a Canadian citizen? Will you vouch for me?

How do so many reasonably smart people get roped into the insane way that these tea partiers think? Do they like to be refered to as tea baggers? You think someone behind their creation would have know about that - concidering what freaks Republicans are in the bedroom...or so I have heard.
