It's Not Him

I just went to the pet shelter (which depressed me to no end) to see if someone had picked up and turned in Admiral Fluffy. However, the one that looked so much like him was not him. Must smaller and younger and no tattoo in his ear. I hate having hope most of all.

((massive hugs)) Sorry to hear it wasn't Admiral Fluffy, I've still got my fingers and toes crossed that he shows up.

I'm sorry he hasn't turn up yet. Hang in there, Kal. It's been 2 weeks since my kitty died, and I still miss him a lot, so I kinda know how bad you must miss Admiral Fluffy.

The misfire at the pet shelter should reassure you that systems are in place for finding your beloved cat. Not to mention that they're smart animals and know their way around the lanscape of their homes and neighborhoods. Bolstering community awareness really works. When my cat came back after a week, he just kind of...walked in, like it all made perfect sense.

There is definitely still hope. Cats are so independent minded and he probably thinks nothing of the worry and pain he's causing while he's out galavanting around meeting soft and sleek alley cats.

When he's done showing off his plumage he'll come home where the noms are. I have faith in it.
