What Is The Demographic For These Illustrations?
I mean who would spend the time cutting and pasting these together? Even if I was on a desert island with only these and a pair of scissors to amuse me, I would wipe my ass with these until they ran out.

Ha ha I remember these cutouts. They were fun in theory!
Yes, theory.
Clearly you never played paper dolls as a child, Cal. Of course, why would you? Only girls and the occasional gay boy played paper dolls. We used to make our own paper dolls and outfits out of last year's Eatons catalogue -- never the current year's because we still had to order stuff out of it. Such low-tech amusements have gone the way of the dodo bird now, of course.
OMG. I would have killed myself if that is all I had to do to amuse myself. Thanks to Dad for always making sure we had lots of books or this could have become my obsession. When I like something I REALLY like it so I can imagine a reality where I have a collection of cut out dolls.
I used to love making collages and these are like collages. OMG. I am such a weird person.
Dear Kal, thank you for having been our Friend... we wish you the best in your life...
when ppl were poor newspapers were full of toys you could assemble - kids only having paper car and paste collectibles - imagine the next depression
I'd have played with them when I was 5-11 I used to mmake whole paper armies of mutants and monsters to fight my green army men too.
