I Don't Know Art But I Know What I Hate

Lidia Timoshenko. Onegin-- Tatiana and the great Bear of the Russian winter, deep in the forest. Illustrations made between 1951-1967.

First of all, dating this piece within a 16 year span of recent history is insane. What, you don't have some Fine Arts Undergrad who can do some research and narrow it down a bit. YOU KNOW WHO DID THE WORK. Next, that is a BEAR and a bear that is up and around in the middle of winter is a HUNGRY bear. He would have eaten her and went back to sleep by now or the cold would have got her or at least frostbitten her enough that she would have to wear a veil for the rest of her days. Next, why is the bear CARRYING her like a human might carry around his lunch before he eats it. And those are just two NON BEAR like things that this supposed bear is doing. I am calling bullshit on this whole sordid image. I want nothing to do with anything that portrays bears in this way. It's not right. Go away Human Bear. We don't want you around these parts.
