Stupid Game Of Thrones

This death put the kibosh on the show for me.
I am officially calling KIBOSH on Game of Thrones.

First off, it's Game of Thrones. Love No One.

Second, next season we go to his homeland and meet his family, so... I'm not gonna say you should Hope, but at least that will gives us more characters potentially to love until they die horribly.

I have had enough of you humans and your love of death. This one broke my spirit.

It was in the books, Same as poor ned, and Robb, and Catlyn. george RR Martin's gift is in putting Gravitas into the fantastic, and in medeival times that means dying and humping. The books were better done, but it is his style, if you get a chance Cal, Try his Wild Cards series, it is a super heroes series I would almost describe as the opposite of Watchmen in premise, but far better in execution, heroes actually age in real time and even grow old and die, excellent reads both series.

Yes, when it happened in the books, it did do some damage to my love for the books, I have to admit. I mean, come on! We get introduced to the character, who gets a lot less "screen time" in the books by the way, and then BAM! Gruesome demise. Sucked even more than Ned's death, let me tell you.

I liked the Wild Cards miniseries from the eighties and read the first book.

I just can't deal with Game of Thrones breaking my heart.
