Sense8
After dumping Aquarius and Texas Rising, I saw the entire first season of this show on my torrent site. I liked the trailer enough to give it a chance but be warned SENSE8 - I will not tolerate any foolishness or stupidity. I don't want to wait until the last episode to have all of my questions answers. I don't ever want to see the line. "Come with me. There is no time to explain why." There is ALWAYS time to explain why. Just explain it. THEN I will go with you.
No really. Don't mess this up, Netflix.

I'm on episode 3. It's very slow moving. I don't know if it's going to meet your criteria.
I, personally, like it so far. If I was watching it weekly though, it's too much the pacing of Heroes to keep my attention. But binging it, it's okay.
I don't think you'll care, but it's got some graphic scenes with transsexual and homosexual characters. IMDB boards are... well, they're disgusting, as usual, with the people who are pissed off about "gay agenda" and such. I say, if it doesn't agree with you, turn it off. I, however, was excited when I realized that the trans character was actually being played by a trans actress. Which with the Wachoskis I probably shouldn't be surprised. Still glad to see it though.
So turn off your expectations of SciFi shows and just watch it as character studies witgh some SciFi thrown in and it'll be a good watch.
(Again though, I'm on episode 3.)
Thanks for that. I will give it a try and see how far I get. In the world of the complete seasons at one time it's all they can expect from us. I hope it's not like HELIX. I came back every week for SOMETHING and got NOTHING but a few frozen heads in the snow.
