100/1000 Celebration

I sit here stunned that it actually happened. I go on everyday just plugging away on this blog sharing the stuff I find that I think are cool or visually interesting or strange or infuriating and I just let it come as it comes. Partially an exercise in writing and partially an attempt to connect with like minded individuals, I think I have been successful in my goal. If you look at the numbers/benchmarks I set for myself I certainly have been. As as yesterday I had 105 followers and 1,026 unique daily visitors - a personal high point for me. My average is around 850 visitors a day. Yesterday I thought about quiting and walking away and just leaving it for what it was but who knows. Maybe my reblogging and loopy thoughts entertain some who need that in their day. I know I get alot out of it. Thanks again to my people out there who do visit. I may not hear from you as regularly as some but the numbers can't lie. My unlimited love to you all - Kal

Calvin, Congratulations. I am amazed at your prolific blogging abilities. If I didn't know better I would guess that you were really 5or 6 people posing as one guy with the high volume of posts you do. The constant octopus theme lets me know it all comes from the same guy.

I read you almost exclusively through Google Reader, so know that your hit count should by all rights be much higher! I just have a hard time deciding which posts to comment on, because honestly, if I tried to comment on every one I might have to cut back my hours at work.

I hit you through Google Reader, too, but I don't miss a single post. Quitting while you're on top is a lot better than walking away because you're frustrated (as I've often considered), but I don't want you to leave at all.
