THIS is Fabulous

I loves me some Freddy Mercury. You all know that. Such a showman and the best singer (note for note) of the rock era. Queen was the first band I ever liked growing up. I once traded with my sister so I could buy 'Night at the Opera' and 'Day at the Races' at the same time. (We were allowed to get one album ever two weeks - my Dad loved music)

If not for me mimicking all of Freddy's songs, I would not be the great singer I am today. What? You doubt me. I wish I could find out how to add songs to my blog from tape because I have several great versions of the classics that me and my friends recorded at the 'West Edmonton Mall's' recording studio. There was a reason my buddies always had Big Daddy sing the lead.

They knew, I knew, the punk kid doing the recording knew, the groupies gathered outside the studio knew, the crew knew, the roadies knew, the money men in the penthouse knew and now YOU know.

Is this statue the real deal? And, if so, where is it?

I saw this statue months ago on cracked.com topic Freddie Mercury", which says the statue is overlooking Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

Trip advisor seems to back it up.

Love your work!

Thanks for the visit JLS. You grew up on a sheep farm? With the shearing? The wonderful sheep shearing? The circle is complete.

It's hard for us simple farmin' folk to keep up with all your posts, but I do try. I don't often feel smart enough to leave an appropriately witty comment for you though.

Yep I grew up on a sheep farm with plenty of sheep shearing. The farm's been sold though (about 7 months ago) so no more of that for me. Just geeky stuff and aeroplanes.
