The one I owned had several paddle settings. My fave was paddles on all four sides and your controller moved two of them at the same time.

Wooooooo! High tec!

Not only do I remember, I had pong until I moved 6 years ago and the freaking movers must have stolen it. I didn't notice until more than a year later. I was so bummed out...

We just didn't know any better back then. We were a simple people who had to come home to make a phone call and used the kids to change the channels on the TV.

Yeah I remember the little doowhacky tv games we had as kids. It was similar to the pic you have here, but the control module had an attractive walnut-like finish to it. The only game we could play as tennis and by that I mean we had the little plug in control sticks which would bounce a 'ball' back n forth across the screen.
Oh, and it went 'bing' which sounded very science-ey and space age.

I remember this game at Eastgate mall in Sherwood Park in the mid 70's. Yep hanging out at Tops n Toys ah memories. There was also that helicopter game where the helicopter was attached to a metal rod and with the joy stick you had to land the thing in amongst trees for points. It was the precursor to the video game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIV4fnWcnPs

I still have my Pong game.
Good times and we were so happy with it.

Fine, you finally put one out there that I can't be a part of. While I have played pong, it was well after it would have been considered "cutting edge."

I guess this means I'm noy your people.

We will make an exception for you TS since you are one of the good ones. Plus you never leave the room when we are telling our 'stories'.

Wow, they're hard-core...they're playing with the short paddles!

Mine had the levers and not the dials. It was from Radio Shack.

We were too poor. It wasn't until the 2600 came out that we got our own system.

And yes, my brother still has it. He keeps it in his office with his Sega and all the rest because his wife is anti-video-game but whenever she leaves town we have some crazy fun old school gaming weekends! Come over! :)
