Enough With the Whining

You can all be mad at my insensitivity but at this point I really don't care. Look what I read today on the EW website.

"The Beautiful Life will go on, with or without its troubled star Mischa Barton. Barton was hospitalized last week after calling the L.A.P.D. with an unspecified health problem. Reports that she has been placed under involuntary psychiatric hold at an L.A. hospital have not been confirmed by her reps."

Well it had to happen. I have finally had it up to HERE with the story of another poor actress being hospitalized because she is thin, rich, pretty, and SAD. AWWWWWWWWWW - that is so terrible for you. All your life you have been told that because you can fit into a size zero dress that you are better than everyone else and should be the model for all young girls to follow. Well Micha Barton, I don't care if you flush your life and opportunities down the toilet but don't expect me to feel sorry for you. You are a selfish hothouse orchid who needs a dose of reality and to put down the crack pipe. I have a suspicion that you are gonna learn how the rest of us non-media whores live. Welcome to the 'desert of the real' sweetheart.

Amen. The sense of entitlement among the rich and "powerful" in North America is disgusting.

I find your insensitivity endearing. In that non-gay way that it can be, I guess, occasionally.

Seriously though, great post. I rant every time my daughter watches those horrid, rich Kardashians or the $500K birthday parties on Sweetest 16 or any other show that presents dumb, rich, silver-spoon assholes whining because their trip to France to pick out their cocktail outfit turned out crappy because they didn't carry coral or some shit. Damn. Sorry. Getting mad just thinking about it.
