30 Day Music Challenge - Day 16 - Song You Used To Love But Now Hate

Oh boy this is a tough one. How does a song go from being liked to being hated? If you like it you like it forever don't you?

Oh I got one. Of all the Queen albums I have, 'The Game' is the worst one. It's the one when they went with the synthesizers and they never used that crutch before. Funny how that was their ONLY album to reach number one. I liked it until the second or third play and then I felt like they had sold out.

"Crazy Little Thing Called Love" I hate. It's just one of their worse songs and remember, this is the band that put out "Fat Bottomed Girls" so they have their share of crappy songs. 'Another One Bites The Dust' sucks too. So you get a twofer with this day.

Can't fault their creativity and effort but not every song hits the bullseye. 'Crazy' is one of those songs that people who DON'T know many of the band's songs likes. Any true fan hates it. And as a devotee I will fulfill my requirements for this challenge but will waste no space showing off something I hate.

Never liked it, so now I don't feel like a hypocrite. When "Another One Bites the Dust" ruled the charts I sneered at it. "This is not Queen," I sneered. I actually like it more now than I did then, when my 21-year-old's reaction to Freddie Mercury's new moustache and bare chest probably crossed the line into fairly active homophobia (which I have hopefully grown past in the almost thirty years since.)

But still, my favorite Queen song,(along with "Under Pressure") is always, now and forever, "She Makes Me (stormtrooper in stilletos)." It blew my mind wide open back in the cretaceous period, and it's still a song that I put on when the stresses of an eleven-year marriage get to me.

I like fat bottomed girls and the song as well.
Crazy Little Thing is a Top 40 trifle.

I kind of think "Fat Bottomed Girls" is so over-the-top that I really can't dislike it.
