I Love These Toy Replicas

They are remaking all the great GI Joe vehicles so I am hoping these sell well enough that they make the GI Joe hand glider and the Iron Wolf submarine. I had all these as a kid until...the time of the 'Great Lose' when we moved back from Europe and all my toys were lost forever. Probably today they are in that same giant warehouse that the 'Ark of the Covenant' currently resides in.

I used to love the parachute GI Joes. Go up to the second story of the house, and if no adults were around, the roof, and toss em down.

Remember the 'Superpooper Paratrooper' that you used a slingshot to fire into the sky where they opened up.

In Beaverlodge they have a high radio tower and when the kids made their EGG BASKETS with parachute the technician would take them up to the top for us and drop them all afternoon while the kids chased after them and I got to sit in a comfy lawnchair giving ribbons to those whose egg's survived.

LOL, that's awesome.

These are really cool for 3-3/4" figures and they really bring back the feel of the old 12" Adventure Team, but wait till you get a load of the price. It might be less expensive to hunt down the classics.

I wish they would have sold these in stores for a reasonable price.

I had that GI Joe land vehicle. It came with some sort of rig that it would tow.

Thanks CB - That is outrageous. Maybe in store they will be cheaper. I bought that Night Flyer today for a third of the online price. Maybe ebay auctions will bring down the price. Bastards.

I had a similar helicopter for the big GI Joe when I was four or five. Kinda dangerous, IIRC. You pinched two buttons on the side to turn the main rotor, and it could get going pretty fast, and pretty close to your head. I loved it.
