Alex Schomburg Art

This guy was doing covers in the Golden Age and is famous for the insane detail he would bring to the page. His perspective and anatomy wasn't perfect but he sure draws your attention to the book. If I was a kid in the fifties I would have been all over these comics for the covers alone. I wish someone was doing large posters of his work. There is a lot to look at here.

BTW, if you had been a kid in the fifties you would have missed out: all these comics were from the forties :-)

You are right of course. I would be breaking into peoples homes in the fifties looking specifically for these comics. Thanks for correcting me.
