You Never Forget Your First Companion

Why does this just break my heart to see now? Oh Doctor, why is it that you are so afraid of love? I know for a Time Lord it's more a curse to love but couldn't you have learned to live with her aging and eventual passing, just for her? She's ROSE for fuck's sake?

I might be showing my geek here for a moment.....but, if it helps.. ;) .....
she did get to stay with the mortal Doctor in that parallel universe. I guess that's better than nothing.

Still....poor Doctor!

*sigh* Thanks for reminding me of this one little bright spot. I always think I'm not a romantic and then something like this comes along. *sigh*, I say.
Needed a bright spot today. I'm having the kind of day where I am growling at people a lot. I should be stuck down a hole and not allowed to live amongst regular people. (Plus, if that Palin person makes president, I really am moving back to Canada)

Never worry about Palin, Laurie. She is too much of a coward than step up and do a hard job herself. She would rather bitch from the sidelines and take the money of any goobers stupid enough to pay for her unhelpful brand of balloon juice. Her and Trump and all those assholes on the right need to book passage on that spaceship heading for the sun and do us all a favor. I hate people that use the enormous platform they have to only enrich themselves and their own ego.

Um..'BACK' to Canada. Why were you deported in the first place?

In this regard the Doctor is a tragic figure of a byronic persuasion. He should know by now not to pick up a rose in his path. He knows that he will change everything in her life and then eventually leave. But he can't stop himself. It's Rose that my heart breaks for.
