I Don't Remember Him Ever Being This Young

Happy 14th B-Day Buddy. You are my bestest kitty ever. The mummies and cephalopods would have had me long ago if not for you. Check out that look bitches. That is a cold blooded, natural born killer if there ever was one. Swift, deady and totally without pity for his enemies. He's such a good boy.

Wow, what a beauty! I feel the same way too when I see photos of our cat as a kitten. I wonder if people feel that way about their kids. Like it's so weird to even imagine yourself small enough to fit in a tiny kid's chair or a big wheel. Ya know?

I brought him and his brother home in a large poptart box. They looked nothing alike but were from the same litter of big ol' farm cats. After ten years Stretchie died from an enlarged heart that should have killed him in less than a year according to the vet. They are just like kids for those of us without children.

I've been married almost 25 yrs. We also refer to our cats as our kids. I really don't regret not having any human ones. My favorite kid passed away a few years ago at the age of 23. Cootie was the meanest, most lovable kid I ever shared a home with.

Our beloved Stinky lived to be 24 so you must have cared for yours baby very well to get her to her 20s.

Yeah, we really cared for Cootie. She was on Prednisone (sp) for the last 6 yrs. due to some kind of weird infection. We really loved her but she was also too cranky to die. (Luckily). We have 3 now, very entertaining with completely different personalities. One lovey-dovey, one cranky and one Forest Gumpish who seems to stare off in the distance alot.
