Love To See Him Win

If you look back you will see that I was highly supportive of his part in this project and he hit it out of the park. If every binger on Netflix could vote he would win hands down. Now I am very sad. This is  just an ad taken out in support of his nomination (that he didn't get) for an Emmy - whose entire operation can now officially kiss my ass. Almost none of my favorites got nominated. Maybe too many shows and too many good performances to be fair with everyone but D'Onofrio was fierce on DAREDEVIL a show that itself was snubbed. Probably because it came from Netflix and Netflix is changing the way we watch TV shows. The ability to binge on whole seasons in one weekend is revolutionary and cuts advertisers completely out of the loop. They found a way to defeat that old belief that we needed to keep the advertisers happy if we hoped to make quality television. The exact opposite is the truth. If you get advertising, you are limited in what you can show on screen because someone will always be offended. Commercial free is the way to go.

He must have got Emmy's when he was on Law & Order -- probably several? He'll get more in the future. He's on the comeback trail!

He did get for his work on this show which I loved. He was so smart and different than any of the other detectives. He was sad and damaged.
