Oscar Bait

Watched 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince' again and noticed how much I gots the manlove for Alan Rickman's performance. If this guy doesn't get a nomination for this role (and I am fully prepared to wait for his big moment in the next two final films in the series for the nod and the win) then the Oscars really mean nothing. They have expanded the best movie list to ten movies to reward these kind of 'popular' movies (like being popular and something people want to see is a bad thing) and the consistent quality of the Potter films deserve more than awards for production values. Rickman has been an interesting actor to watch since I first really became aware of him in 'Die Hard' but 'Severus Snape' is the role he was born to play. In a series full of genius casting, he is the one of the best choices next to Emma Watson.
