Photo Of The Month

I am someone who has no fear of dangerous weather. If I can see a tornado in the distance I would run towards it instead of running away. I can't resist being close to all that raw power. This picture reminds me of that attitude. I hate living in an age when you can't trust a photo to be real and not photoshopped because this one has all the hallmarks of not being natural.

Have you looked at video of the monster tornado that just destroyed the south? It's horrible because of how many people it killed but you just can't help but marvel at the sheer size.

The photo has been photoshopped -- and not very well, I might add.

Funny you mentioned the tornado footage TS. I moved a tv into my room so that I could watch footage on the various news networks all day. People were email me to see if I caught the coverage - as if I would miss it.

I don't have to watch it. I get to see that kind of stuff every spring in North Texas. I am terrified of it. The idea of having to start all over and the chance of losing friends and family are too big a price.

The woman with her arm out reminds me of Charismatic christians who stand in services with their arms up--their idea is they'll conduct God's power like lightning rods. The woman in the picture would get a lot more power than she planned on.
