A Short History of America

I am a big fan of Robert Crumb's work. The documentary made several years ago is one I go back to often. When he is the most sane person in his family you know that he comes from a pretty messed up place. There is something about eclectic individuals that makes me seem less strange by comparison. This short piece of animation is bases on Crumb's 'A Short History of American' series of illustrations. The three images were added later by Crumb to create three future alternatives for the same location. Thanks to 'Boing Boing' for the find.
